Kris Rush was born in New York in 1952, in his 20s he attended the School of Visual Arts of New York City. From the beginning he worked in his studio and from 1996 his work of art moved from Milan to Paris to international fame. In his career he manoeuvred in arts from painting, sculpture to design. It is important to mention his focus on paper for the development of his pieces. Another important material is wood. Recently, he created the Kritters vases for Qeeboo, all made of ceramics, another of the many materials worked by the artist. The work by Ruhs takes a futuristic cut. The Kritters collection was introduced to the audience at the fair in Milan Salone del Mobile 2023.
