After his degree in Industrial Design at "La Sapienza" University in Rome, Stefano Papi successfully presented his thesis "Aura lo scooter del futuro", winning the Aprilia Design Prize in 2002 in cooperation with Studio Paretti. As a freelance professional, he has dedicated himself to the design of products and the creation of videos and presentations, working with several design studios. He has managed the communication of various products and contributed to the creation of innovative concepts for websites. Starting in 2005, he started a collaboration with SLAMP, where he deepened the company’s industrial processes. This new interest has led him to acquire skills in the optimization and innovation of these processes, without abandoning his passion for creating original products and setting up exhibitions. He oversaw the engineering of the Nigel Coates chandeliers exhibited at the 11th edition of the Venice Biennale of Architecture. In 2008 he designed the suspension lamp "Drop of Light", inspired by the fluid shape of water, and in 2011 he created "Morgana", inspired by the shape of an ampoule.
